Prayer

We ask for prayers for a close friend whose little girl was molested. We pray for the little girl and the family. We also ask for prayers for our friend whose Son In Law is in Intensive Care. God knows the situation. We lift him in prayer and the family.

New Prayer Chain Coordinator

Greetings!
As of February 24th, the responsibility for Prayers and Praises as well as announcements has been assumed by me (Barb Hurd, WTE #84).  Bonnie McDougal has served in this position previously and has done a stellar job.  She completed a training session with me, and I hope that I can do as good a job as she did.  Thank you very much, Bonnie!
I ask that you pray for me in this new endeavor and have patience with me.  God bless you all.

Prayers

Dear Friends,

Please pray for our daughter’s, safety.

I have just spoken with our daughter and she told be about the increasing violence for the past 5 days in a row and about her contingency plans to move to a safe house if the telecommunications system goes down. As I viewed the Google Earth map of where she’d go, I began to feel some unrest in my spirit. Then I was reminded of God’s eternal love for her and all of us who are in Christ—and peace returned.

I know that God wants a people willing to come to him with all their prayers and ones who are willing to co-labor with Him to bring Heaven to Earth—to agree with His prayer, “…on Earth as it is in Heaven.” And there’s no violence and strife in Heaven!

May we agree together by decreeing God’s Words “May grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” – 2 Peter 1:2

Also, “I will both lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make me live in safety.” Psalm 4:8.

Ash Wednesday
and we are on our way
to Your Way.
O Lamb of God,
have mercy upon us and
keep us from all the smallness of our lives
that would take precendence over
kneeling in Jerusalem.
