Prayer & Praise

Prayers please for our nephew and his family. Has been ill for approximately 3 weeks. They have found a pollup on his gallbladder and they will be doing testing on his thyroid as he has gained about 20 pounds in 3 weeks even though he has not been able to keep anything down. He is seeing a specialist and will be facing surgery. He is a young man with a young family and will be off work for a while. His wife is a stay-at-home mom so finances are tight.

Please say a prayer for a friend today! She went to the Dr’s this am & ended up being admitted ta the hospital,with breathing problems ect. They are talking about possibly transferring her to Rochester for possible heart surgery.

PRAYERS, PLEASE, FOR HEALING FOR A REALLY SPECIAL SWEET LADY. SHE IS A DEAR FRIEND TO ME AND DOES SO MUCH FOR ME THAT I CANNOT DO MYSELF. MARY LOVES HER GOD AND CHRIST AND KNOWS THEY LOVE HER, TOO. THANK YOU!!!

My brother in law’s wife died in august. He has not done well since her death,last week they found out he has Lung Ca, was going to start chemo this week, but they decided not to proceed as of yesterday. The Doctor went to their house last night to see him and said he’d be lucky to make it until christmas.The family really needs prayer.

Koinonia #52 will be THIS weekend, October 8-10 at Bath Centenary UMC in Bath, NY.

PLEASE keep the weekend, candidates, team, and community in your prayers from Friday evening when the team arrives until Monday evening when all is cleaned/packed up.

PLEASE join us for the HOLY HOUR to support the candidates and team. HOLY HOUR will be held Sunday evening, October 9th at 6pm at Bath Centenary UMC Sanctuary (3 W Washington St, Bath, NY, 14810 – so you can mapquest/google/GPS) and the HOOT/Candlelight will follow at 7pm.

We would love to have a huge turnout to support & show Christ’s love to these candidates.  Isn’t it wonderful when the community … er … family comes together?!?!

Also – we need Fireflies/Moonbeatles for both nights – available at night for candidates needs & safety.  Contact Martani deRooij or myself (bderooy1@twcny.rr.com or butterflybetsy12@hotmail.com)

Again, PLEASE keep the candidates and team in your prayers and if able, join us for the HOLY HOUR and the HOOT or to work in the kitchen or on community even for a few hours.

Koinonia #52 Weekend will be held at Bath Centenary UMC in Bath, NY October 8-10. We still have a few important needs from our community.

· We can really use a nurse or doctor to work with us for the hour of out registration on Saturday 9am -10am. We need to record all the medications brought in and set up a simple schedule for weekend. Please email as soon as possible if you can gift some of your time and talents.

· We are still in need for male and female Fireflies for Saturday (8th) and Sunday night (9th). If you don’t mind skipping a night of sleep ( 11PM-6 AM), and are over the age of 21 please drop us a note at bderooy1@twcny.rr.com with which night you can help and your phone number and we can provide a “job out line”. If we have a few for each night we can actually break up the overnight into shifts…lessening the load.

· and finally Folks to attend the HOOT Sunday evening to show our caterpillars and team how much AGAPE love our community has for them ! 6PM Holy hour and 7 PM HOOT ( please make sure you eat before hand as we do not have planned meal for that event)

FOLKS, URGENT PRAYERS, PLEASE!!! FRIEND OF FAMILY HERE AND GREAT PERSON, DX WITH CANCER THAT HAS SPREAD. GOES IN 10/7 FOR SURGERY AND THEN CHEMO. WE KNOW WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE AND HE CAN CURE THIS!!! THANKS!!!

Please pray for my father, and for the surgical team as he will be going in for surgery tomorrow. He has to have a bypass for 100% blockage in artery to left leg and a 5 cm aneurism in his stomoch.
