Prayer warriors, please keep my friends dad in prayer. he is having a heart valve replaced on Friday thank-you.

It is with great sadness and much joy that I share that Pastor was called home by her Heavenly Father this evening. She was a truly beloved pastor, a wonderful friend, a great listener, a beautiful wife, and a loving mother. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Please keep her flock, family, friends, and especially her husband, in prayer.

Please pray daily @ 10:30 am for a little 7 year old with reoccurring cancer. She had a lung removed 3 yrs ago. There cancer has returned and she has had 1 tumpr removed from her brain. At 10:30 in the morning every day she undergoes 90 seconds of radiation to attempt shrinkage of 3 other tumors in her brain. She is in children’s hospital. she is the daughter of one of my former students and the granddaughter of a former colleague.

A short note to ask you to send out a prayer request for a friend. She’s been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer with possible other complications.  Her husband is by her side. Both of her children (daughters) were to arrive today. She is not going to allow any chemotherapy. Hospice is being called in for assistance.
I don’t know if it has been decided for sure that the cancer cells in her lungs are the known cancer cells … or if they are a form that has lain dormant for 16 years after her ’bout with breast cancer, when they thought she had 4 months to die.
The doctor told her husband she could live anywhere from 6 weeks to a year.  She’d need to improve a LOT to be able to make the trip north this year, we fear … plus ALL the doctors she’s gotten established with are down here and have known her for years.
If there is any way you could put this request for prayer through the Emmaus community I’m sure we’d all appreciate that, too?
We’re all devastated and could use all the prayer we can get!

This is an Urgent prayer request. I am requesting prayer for a friend of mine.. He is a young man, 35 yrs old with two kids and is married to a very good friend of mine. I was just informed that he has been having problems with his heart and the Dr’s think he might have a blockage. He is going in on April 26th, Thursday, for a heart catherization. They have not told their kids, ages 13 and 8, as they do not want them to worry. Please pray that the Dr’s are able to fix the problem with no complications and pray for the family as well.

I just received an update to the prayer request a couple days ago. My friends husband had his heart catherization on Thursday. The Dr’s found he had a 95% blockage in his main artery and they found a blood clot on the other side of the blockage. When they tried to put the first stint in his artery started to tear so they had to fix that and then placed 3 stints. He stayed overnight and was released today. The Dr’s told him that he was lucky to be alive, had the clot moved he would have had a massive heart attack. His wife is a very strong believer in God, but her husband is not. HE now feels that he has a new lease on life. Please pray for continued healing for him and the whole family and that he will come to find God. There are some other family issues with her dad and family that they could use some extra prayers.

We would love to have anyone who would like to help come and take part in the kitchen. However, normally there is not room at the church for extra people to sleep. You can check with the local Ultreya’s for people who open up there homes for people to sleep over that want to help out. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Requesting prayers for a friend.  She is in the hospital fighting another dip in the road of cancer.  Her and her husband were active in our community before they followed his employer.  Please hold them both in prayer.

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Please wrap a friend in your prayers. He had surgery this morning at hospital to remove his bladder, due to cancer. He will remain in the hospital for at least a week. His wife, who also needs your prayers, will be staying in the guest quarters until he is released from the hospital. I am not sure which walk they went on but it has been a long time! In fact, most of their family has been on the walk.

Please pray for a friend’s family, he passed away yesterday unexpectedly and the whole family needs a lot of prayer. They went on WTE in Utica years ago but I do not know the walk #. Their daughters have also been on the walk. Please pass the word as they were active in all the organizations involved in Emmaus.

I would like to ask for prayers for my son, who is 3 and will be having surgery for his adnoids on Thursday. He will be put to sleep and they are going to look at his adnoids and if they are bad remove them, test him for allergies and look at his sinuses and do a culture of them. It is the first time he has had anything done like this. Please pray for the Dr’s, my son and our entire family. I know he will be taken care of, but I am very nervous already about it

Please lift the VdC #13 men’s team and pilgrims in prayer for their upcoming weekend April 19th – 22nd at Westminister Presbyterian Church in Utica. Pray a hedge of protection around each team member and their families, the pilgrims that God has called to come to this weekend and their families.
