Just talked to a friend. The surgery went well. They put 6 stents in one artery and one in the other. Right now they’re waiting for them to take him to his room.

I thank God for his recent watch over me. This past weekend I took my van to the store. As I was backing up to leave, I lost my brakes and was moving out of control, heading for a car, then a store building and lastly heading right into highway traffic , when suddenly the van spun around and sideswiped a telephone pole, which brought the van to a halt. I was quite shaken. No damage to the pole. No damage to any property { including the telephone pole } The only damage was to my passenger front door. I was truly Blessed. AAA later brought the vehicle to my home. A friend came over inspected and found a rear brake line broke. We replaced both rear lines and cost was less than $30.00 for parts. One thing I learned from the tow truck driver , as he drove the vehicle to load on truck, when the brakes went, I should have put the vehicle in neutral, which would have got the vehicle in control and would have been easier to get to stop. I will keep this in mind and wanted to share this info for others.
We ask for prayers for our neighbor. He recent had to have his teeth removed as they were very badly infected. He is doing well. We trust all will heal for him, so he will also be able to get fitted for dentures.

a friend was taken by ambulance today with angina to Hospital. If he stays stable, the cardiologist will do surgery Monday. If he becomes unstable, surgery will be sooner. Keep him and his wife in your prayers. Thanks!

The younger sister of my daughter’s friend is in need of a heart transplant (she is 11). I cannot remember her name, but God knows exactly who she is. Prayers for His amazing healing.

I would like to ask for prayers for two issues that I have become aware of the God knows about. May our prayers flow as a fragrant scent upon God’s senses. Thank you prayer warriors.

Prayers for our grandson. Today is his last chemo treatment. After this treatment will have to wait 30 days and then Drs. will let him know if their are any more steps. WE continue to trust and believe for healing for him. May God continue to Bless him with strength and comfort. Prayers for the family too. Recently we attented his fundraising benefit. They planed to have food to serve about 200. Over 4 times that amount showsed up to give support. During the event they were cooking more food. It was truly a Blessing to see the support and love that was shown to him and the family. We Praise God.
Ask for prayer for our friend who recently had back surgery. All went well. We pray for a speedy recovery .and that all of her previous backback to be released.

My great niece, has a brand new baby girl. She has been transported to hospital with blood clots in her lungs and legs. Please keep her, the drs, and her family in your prayers. Thank you.

This is a reminder that Secretariat meets this Friday in Auburn at 7:30 for a time of fellowship, communion, and a business meeting. All who wish to attend are welcome!

Please note there will not be an Ultreya Leaders Meeting at 7:00.

If you cannot attend, please send your report in to me and Joelle so it can be included in the minutes.

Also, remember in prayer the Women’s Walk gathering in Camillus this Thursday.

I just received a call from friends. Her father was found unresponsive this morning. They rushed him to the hospital and as yet they do not know the out come. Please include them and family in your prayers. Thank you.

VDC Weekend

Hi all!

Here is a reminder about the upcoming VDC weekends. Look for the community signs to know where in the church we will gather. Times are generally accurate, but also dependent upon where the team and pilgrims are in their schedule.

A reminder that closing cannot begin until the church is cleaned. Community assistance with this is essential. The cha’s will have already done much of the work, but kitchen, dining room, and the sanctuary after closing will still require community volunteers. Mike will be asking for your help.

May 10 – Sponsor hour – after the pilgrims are delivered and settled.
May 12 – Holy Hour – 6pm, serenade to follow at approximately 7pm
May 13 – Las Mananitas (gather at 5:30am), Break-in, and closing, gather around 2pm

Directions to church: Westminster Presbyterian Church, Utica NY

From the West and East: Using New York State Thruway.
Take exit 31 Utica from the New York State Thruway. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for Genesee St. for 1.4 miles, then turn right on Court St. Take the first right onto Broadway and go 340 feet to the parking lot on the left. The usable lot is JUST past the Municiple Building parking lot. Entrance to the church is directly across the street.

From the North:
Take Route 12 south to the State Street exit. Bear left then turn Right onto State Street. Take a left onto Court Street. Take another left onto Broadway. Go 340 feet to the parking lot on the left. The usable lot is JUST past the Municiple Building parking lot. Entrance to the church is directly across the street.

From the West using the Arterial (Route’s 12, 5, 8)
Head east through Utica and take a right on Court Street. Then take a left on Broadway, go 340 feet to the parking lot on the left. The usable lot is JUST past the Municiple Building parking lot. Entrance to the church is directly across the street.
