KOINONIA & YAK

Christian renewal weekends for teens and young adults.

Growing in Faith Together

Koinonia and YAK are three-day Christian renewal experiences designed to help teens and young adults deepen their relationship with God, grow in Christian community, and discover what it means to live out their faith in their everyday lives.

Koinonia

AGES 15-18

Koinonia is a three-day weekend designed for teens ages 15–18. Weekends have traditionally been held twice a year, in March and October, to coincide with school holidays.

Throughout the weekend, participants hear talks presented by their peers and clergy. The experience is designed to help young people develop and deepen their relationship with God and strengthen their commitment to following Jesus in their lives.

YAK

AGES 18-24

YAK, or Young Adult Koinonia, is a three-day weekend designed for young adults ages 18-24 who are in high school or college.

Throughout the weekend, participants build a foundation for Christian leadership in their homes, churches, schools, and communities. The experience explores God’s grace, what it means to be part of the body of Christ, and how to share Christ’s love with a world in need.

Koinonia and YAK weekends are not currently being held. We hope to offer these ministries again in the future and will share information here as plans develop.
