Spring Walks Prayer Vigil

Hello Prayer People!!! It’s that time again. We are getting ready for the
Spring walks and creating the prayer boards.

Men’s Spring Weekend –CW #96 – April 19-22 – Christ Community of the Nazarene in

Syracuse. Bill Richards – His verse is in James. Draw Close to God and God will draw close to you.

Women’s Spring Weekend –CW #96 – May 17-20 – Christ Community of the Nazarene in Syracuse.

Shawn Schultz – Scripture Psalm 46:10. Be still, and know that I am God.

All you need to do is be willing to pray for the babe
chicks, team, and sponsors of the weekends. Email me at
laedger@stny.rr.com if you are able to do that. We will make up a special
prayer board with the weekend name, the verse of the weekend, and your names
all over it so the people coming to the weekend can see the people that are
praying for them.
Let’s cover the Spring walks with prayer. It doesn’t take a lot of time and
can be done any where, at any time, on the weekends above!

You can also choose to appear permanently on every prayer board for the upcoming walks.If you desire to do that, please note that in your response. Those that have already done that in the past do not need to respond to this notice. Email me if you can’t remember

Raquette Valley Ultreya

We will gather Sunday evening, March 25 at 6 PM at the Potsdam United Methodist Church. A dish to pass dinner with fellowship around the table will be followed by a program – Helen St. Louis (WTE # 82) will share her Faith Journey, singing, short business meeting, and Holy Communion.

Please check your calendars to see if you are able to assist with teaming meals (breakfast and lunch) on Saturday, April 28 at Knapps Station Community Church. Nancy Bush and Hugh Bearce will head this up, an offering was taken at the February meeting raising enough money to cover the costs of these meals and provide seed money for the teaming meals we will serve to Men’s and Women’s teams #97 in preparation for the walks in Massena this summer. There are many opportunities to serve right here in our local area!

Please listen for God’s word to your heart to discern if you are feeling led to present the program for Sunday evening, April 29.

We are up to 24 candidates for this coming weekend – Koinonia #53 & YAK #26. Praise the Lord!!

Please join us this Saturday, March 17th at 6pm for Holy Hour and 7pm for HOOT at Christ Community Church of the Nazarene in Syracuse. We also could use help on community in the kitchen, etc all weekend!

In addition to showering us with prayer and coming to the Holy Hour and HOOT, please consider sending Agape to the candidates and team and chapel notes to those giving talks if you are able.

Just reminding you that the Soaring Eagles Ultreya will be meeting this Saturday March 3 at the Lairdsville United Methodist Church. We will gather at 6 Pm for a covered dish dinner. Please bring your table service and a dish to pass. come and fellowship with us!
