Vine Life Ultreya

Blessings to all:

Vine Life Ultreya
Saturday, May 28th
5:30 gather
6:00 Dish to Pass

We had a wonderful crowd in April, over 30, when Paul Winkleman gave his talk on Peace. It was wonderful and we are blessed to have him as part of our Closer Walk community.
The week ends were great and I want to thank all who supported Bonnie McDougal, it was wonderful and the Closer Walks 93 were very successful.
On Sat. June 25th we will be having Carol and Peter Loveland come to talk about their latest mission trip to Haiti. Carol is collecting 4 hole buttons for some projects for the kids at the Haiti school. As long as we have a little time before their coming, get out your button boxes and bring your extra buttons. Also, Peter has agreed to do an agape feast for us. This should be a great meeting.

Bring your Dish to Pass, Song Books, and NAME TAGs as we might have a few new people from the weekends.

Secretariat Reminder

Jeremiah 31:28
In the past I deliberately uprooted and tore down this nation. I overthrew it, destroyed it, and brought disaster upo n it. But in the future I will just as deliberately plant it and build it up. I, the Lord, have spoken!

Wow! 2 weekends down and they were fantastic!! This community continues to be a strong and powerful blessing to everyone who comes in contact with it. Thank you to all the members of secretariat that have helped make thi s community and the transition process a success and to all the general community who showed up to support both the men’s and women’s weekends!!

Just a reminder that secretariat meets this Friday, May 20th at 7:30 pm at Auburn UMC. Ultreya leaders will meet at 7 pm to share thoughts and ideas. We will gather at 7:30 pm in the sanctuary for fellowship and communion followed by a meeting and of course Denny’s for a late snack if you wish to join us! If you have not been to a secretariat meeting, it is open to everyone and is a great time to fellowship with members of the communit y. All are welcome at the meeting, but only secretariat members are allowed to vote on items that require it.

Hope to see you Friday night. If not, see you soon. God Bless and safe travels! Kevin Farnsworth, Lay Director Closer Walk of UNY

Raquette Valley Ultreya

Hi,

Reminding all that this May’s Raquette Valley Ultreya gathering was moved to one week early: Sunday, May 22.
With God’s permission, it won’t be raining inside that night!
We look forward to a lovely, inspired, Sacred Dance team to present a program of spiritual enrichment. The Women’s Closer Walk weekend at Geneva had its Closing on Sunday, May 15, and we might be able to welcome some of them Sunday.
The usual business should begin at 6:30, with prayer, praise, and singing afterward.
So come with a friend, songbook, name tag and a thankful heart to Potsdam UMC (Main Street).

God is good,….
John
