This is a prayer request. A young man was diagnosed with cancer this morning. He is a second grader where I work. I know him pretty well and am heartbroke about this. He has rhabdomyocarcoma. They started radiation this morning and told his mom that he would need treatments 40-50 weeks. His teacher is also struggling with this and broke down in front of her class today. She is an awesome teacher and we were throwing around ideas for the class to constantly be reaching out to Tristan! Thank you all in advance for the prayers for his recovery, his family, his teacher and his classmates!! They appreciate them!!

Ask for prayers for my Dad who was taken to the hospital with his heart. This morning they had to use the paddles to get his heart moving. Pray for comfort and strength for him. Pray for the medical team.
Ask for prayers for our Great Son who is scheduled for surgery Monday Nov 5th. He is 18 Mo. old. Has a build up of fluid on one testicle. They need to drain and correct the problem.
Ask for prayers for a close friend. She lives in Fl. Received call and she is scheduled for surgery on Nov 5th for cervical cancer.
Ask for prayers for one of our grand children and the family. God knows the need.
We also give praise report regarding our grand daughter. She has been in an abusive relationship for past three years. She had finally saw the light and after the last physical incident in August had him arrested. Went to court and he will be sentence to one year in county jail. She was also granted soul custody of the two children. Since that God has made a way for her to move to a new apartment. She is blessed with a wonderful landlord. She is also seeking professional counseling. To handle several issues. She is very open and honest with us. We thank God for the provisions He has made in her life. Please keep her in prayer for the road ahead is still a long one.
Keep us in prayer too. For guidance, strength and wisdom for as you can see our plate is overflowing.. We keep believing that God does not give us more than what we can handle.

My sister in law is a pediatric nurse. Today she and the dr she work for will be attending a funeral for a pt of theirs.He was a happy, healthy 5 month old Baby boy. It was sudden. It brings chills to my skin, sadness to my heart and tears to my eyes just typing this. The family, which includes two young siblings and all who know them need to be covered in prayers right now!!! These are the times that test the faith of the faithful. We need to be praying for strength,fellowship,and strengthened faith in such difficult times!!

A young lady was moved out of Hospital into an acute rehab setting-she is on a strenuous regimen of physical, occupational, and speech therapy…. it’s been 4 weeks since we lifted this young lady up in prayer for the first time…

I am asking for prayers for family who is going through a difficult time now. Also asking for prayers for the local school district as they do not have enough in there budget to pay for aides for the buses and they have 1 driver and 60 kids.

I’m in need of prayer..I’ve not been myself lately and I feel like I’m lost.  Please Lord wrap me in your beautiful Grace!

In 1995 I was working at the Tavern.  In comes a man.  He tells me that a hunter was shot in the woods.  So I asked him who it was. He told me my brother.  I had to ask him again who!  He says your brother.  Well, my heart went into my throat and I ran upstairs to tell the boss that I was leaving and why.   Well, I’m standing in WalMart today when someone pipes up and says that someone was shot.  My heart went into my throat again, but I had a peace about me that I just kind of know that it wasn’t him.  You see, another brother of mine lives on that road with his family.  Talk about a freaky situation.  I called my Mom and asked her if she had seen him or my nephew today.  She proceeded to tell me that she had seen my my nephew but not brother.  My brother came to the house to prove to my parents that he was alive and fine.  AND to tell my Mom that they don’t hunt in that set of woods.  Talk about relief!   God sure was with my family today
Please Pray for the family of the hunter that did get shot and with this hunter.  That kind of news really stinks.

Heading to Rockland County with a generator for my son’s girlfriend’s family.  Asking prayers for safe travels, finding gas close enough, and safe passage there and back.  They will be without power for at least another week.  Winds ripped off the main power line to their home.  Thank you my friends.

Mission accomplished!  Generator working – check.  Belly full from lunch – check.  Time spent with family – check.  Visit to Rockland bakery – double check. Headed back north with pastries for Ultreya tomorrow night!!!

Got home about 45 minutes ago.  Hot shower and a slice of fruit tart from Rockland Bakery!  It’s been a great day filled with many blessings!  All honor and glory to my Lord and Savior as I do it for him for what He has done for me!

Finally got an answer from doctors today. Herniated disk lower back. At least it is not the heart again! Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes.

I have been asked to share this on my prayer chains…
I met a woman this weekend who is in dire straights. Recently divorced, she has been out of a job for a long while (when her government contract ran out) and her unemployment benefits just ran out, as well. She came this weekend to help at our food cupboard (she lives 50 miles away) and ended up staying for church. She was so blessed by everyone and a number of us have been praying for her all weekend. I just received a call from her and she got a message today that someone received her resume and would like to talk to her about a position!!! She knows the power of prayer and has asked that we continue to pray for her and her children and that she find work soon!!!! Prayers are working and she just needs that confidence boost and to know that people love her and care about her…….thank you for your prayers!

Please pray for our son and his wife. They are going through a rough patch and are separating. They love each other but feel their differences are just too much to overcome.

I am asking this community to be praying for a friend from work. On Thursday, he is going to court seeking shared custody of his three children ages 4-10.  In my many conversations with him, his desire is only for time as a father with his children.  It is not about money or getting even.  He is a seeker, going to Church and asking a lot of questions.  If you could lift him and his children and ex-wife in prayer at 10:00 on the 8th he would be grateful

Please keep my parents neighbor and his family in prayer. He had a massive heart attack and is not doing well. I don’t know much more than that.

I am so bummed about not being able to make it to the Reunion! I failed to block out my column in the appointment book at the salon, and I’ve been praying so hard and so long for an increase in clientele that I didn’t even think about the reunion when I was posting appointments for today! I was just so excited to have people that wanted me to do their hair! Then I realized what I had done… Soooo sad! I really wanted to see my CW98 buddies again and find out what God had been doing in their lives since the Walk! Please know that I am with you all in Spirit today, praying for all of you and rejoicing still in the wonderful gift we were given on our Walk! It all happens for a reason, folks. I have to trust in that. Love you all….

I want to say first and foremost that God is Good! Thank you Father for everything we have, whether it be a precious child or the necessities of life.

Please friends pray for our daughter. We put her on the prayer chain during the summer. She was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and she was living in Hawaii because her husband was stationed there. Well he was discharged from the army and sent back to his home of record which was Idaho. My daughter is very sick with Bronchitis and double ear infection. They have no income because my son-in-law has not looked for a job. He has also not gone to the VA for there health insurance. This means she can’t afford the medicine and she won’t let me send her the money.

She also has NOT had her radiation treatments. I am very worried about her. We found out right before she left Hawaii that her cancer is very aggressive and that she should have had radiation started right after she had her last surgery. When I asked her husband why he had not taken care of anything, “he said that he was trying but was too busy with his family!” Please help me with my anger for I am very upset with him. I gave him til the end of the month to get things started or I was going to pay for her to come home which is where she wants to be anyway. I don’t know what else to do about this but pray and believe that she will be ok.

Asking for prayers for my co-workers family. His uncle is in surgery now. He has a blood clot behind his knee.

Hey guys, it’s me again. Had a follow up dr visit today to review X-rays and it appears that I might not have a herniated disk because they found a “mass” on my spine. The “C” word was not said but the doctor says I need to “prepare” for the worse. Going in for procedure on Tuesday and maybe an MRI. Please pray!!

I would ask for prayers for my husband as he is entering day 8 of working on Long Island for storm restoration . Conditions are very harsh for the utility workers and heartbreaking for those that live there . He is anticipating being there at Least another week .

We are trying to sell our house in KY (going on our 3rd year). Prayers for it to sell before winter (Dec. 21st)!!!!

We attended the funeral for a friend on Saturday.  He and his wife attended WTE #92 just after we had #91 where he was pastor (three years ago).   My husband really pushed him and his wife to go on the weekend.  WTE was mentioned in his eulogy and we heard that his wife alluded that getting through this difficult time will be easier because she made the walk…keep her and the family in your prayers, as well as the two congregations they were serving…thanks!

Praise alert!!! A friend is out of ICU and talking !  They have down-sized  her trach and she is reporting no effort in speaking.  She is also eating soft foods!

Big shout out of congratulations walk a butterfly.  She has been asked to present her research poster and has won an award.  Way to go!

Please keep a friend, his wife and their children’s families in your prayers. He was a co-worker with me 50 years ago in Altoona, Pa. and he and and his wife and family lived across the street from us. He has had his cancer return in his left lower leg and is facing surgery to amputate the leg above the knee next week.

Prayers please for a young couple having major issues in their marriage.  God knows who they are and what the problems are.  Also pray that God will intervene and guide them on the right path.

Thank you to everyone for their prayers and thoughts during this time.  It has helped to give us strength and peace through all of this.

I am asking for prayers for my daughter and granddaughters.  We are going to court tomorrow for custody. It is the hardest thing in the world for me to hand over my kids to anyone, I am just learning I can hand them to Jesus and He will take care of them.  This whole thing is not going the way I expected and it is a bit discouraging so I am also asking for prayers for all of us to see the wisdom in HIS outcome and know that somehow it will work out for the best.  Lord, I ask that you give us strength and you stand beside us in that courtroom.  I ask for peace of mind and let us FEEL your presence so that we may know it is not the judge or lawyers or even the people at stake, but that it is your outcome and in your time and only you know what is best for all of us.  Thank you Lord for all you do. Update on a friend, Everyday a new miracle!  Her trach is out and they have stopped her heparin so no more IV.  She is taking her favorite liquid independently!  Praise God!

Please pray for my family -my sister’s father-in-law passed away this morning and her mother-in-law is supposed to have double bypass heart surgery tomorrow Mom is also still in the hospital.

Would like prayers please for my brother, who has rheumatoid arthritis and will be having a shoulder replacement surgery Thursday.  Also for my husband;  he is on his way to VA hospital with shoulder pain.

Well my son-in-law got his orders. He’ll be discharged the 16th of Oct. His commanding officer won’t help them change their home of record. They will NOT be coming to NY. Because the army has messed around for so long my daughter has not started her radiation. The commanding officer kept telling him that they would be leaving in two weeks. Every time the two weeks was up and he asked him when they were leaving, again he would say in two weeks.She saw a different Dr the other day and he asked her how come she hadn’t started her treatments. The Dr that did the surgery said that her cancer was stage one. This new Dr searched through her records and said this is a very aggressive cancer and she should have started radiation as soon as she went back to her ENT Dr for her followup to make sure her neck was healing properly before they started it. That was 6 weeks ago. She could have been done with this already. Please pray for her to be ok, traveling mercies, and my anger because I’m a mom & I’m not happy with the army, the commanding officer, or the first Dr at the ENT group.

Please lift up a young lady in prayer she wasn’t feeling well on Friday, woke up on Saturday with no feeling in her legs and is now in the hospital in a coma. Prayers for God’s healing power to surround her .

Update – we have a baby, baby and mom are both doing well thank you, came into this world at 5 pounds 7 ounces and is fine thank you for all the prayers.

Please pray for my new roommate here at the hospital. She is going through similar things as I did plus cluster migranes.

Could use prayer for my family, Don’t like to ask but I am afraid of what might be coming. My husband works at Walmart part time and goes to school full time. WalMart has been giving him problems for a while now and seems like they want to get him out. I am afraid they are trying to do anything to get him fired and it might be working. Please pray that he can find another job before this happens. HE is the only one working and we can’t afford to be without this income. Thank You. He has been sick the last 2 days and called in, so I think they will probably let him go. He is going to the Dr today and will have a note from the Dr but I don’t think they will care.

Though I have been out of the loop for a couple of weeks now since my surgery I am feeling a bit stronger and have had some communications that I am passing on to you all for prayers. I know the power of prayer and thank you one and all for storming the gates of heaven on behalf of those in our congregations and for me. God’s blessings on you all.
My son in law, has been in the hospital since Wednesday . He is getting dialysis for his kidneys damaged from diabetes. Recently he has been diagnosed with a form of blood cancer for which he is receiving chemo. His wife has a bone spur in her hip which makes walking and driving to and from the hospital quite painful.
My daughter had oral surgery yesterday and had 4 wisdom teeth removed. We are having trouble staunching the bleeding and controlling her pain.
My husband’s right shoulder is getting progressively worse and he is actually (gasp!) thinking of seeking a doctor consultation.
I am gaining strength each day and the hip pain is fading. We got a great report from the doctor…pathology report came back negative for cancer! Thank you for the prayers.
A friend just had knee surgery and came through well…rehab to come.
A friend is in Canandaigua adult care and would love cards and visits.
A friend is continuing to gain strength since her surgery.
Lifting up one of our parishioners…God knows the who and why.
There are others to lift in our communities and our families…please keep them in our hearts and minds.

WOW! My first experience with a Koinonia weekend and what a joy to see the kids singing and praising our Lord! My son was a Caterpillar and boy what a joy and a blessing to hear his stories on the way home from the weekend. He truly is not the same kid I brought on Saturday.
Praise to all the team and the others that helped on the weekend, You have all touched lives. Thank you for giving of yourselves to enlarge God’s Kingdom.

Prayers for a co-worker please. He lost his daughter to a drug overdose last January – he has now lost his daughter to an overdose this weekend..this family is just crushed with pain. As you can probably tell I was a little upset when I wrote asking for prayers,,,correction – he lost his daughter this last January & lost his son on Saturday to crack cocaine. Family is just devastated & do not know the Lord…they “believe in God” but that’s about as far as it goes…thank you all for your prayers

if I could I would like to ask for prayers for my great nephew who at the age of 11 accepted Christ into his life and has now gotten into satanism ,His Father, Uncle, & Grandparents have tried to talk to him ,but this is what he chooses…God have mercy on his soul !!!

Asking for special prayers for some friends that are dealing with every emotion imaginable right now. Their son died Saturday night and their daughter passed away in January of this year. I am asking all you prayer warriors to please pray for the strength of the Good Lord to get them through this tragedy.

Asking for prayers again for our neice. She is in the hospital again in icu with pancreatitis. She is building up with fluid and they are trying to find out what is causing this and how to get rid of it. The only thing that seems to really work are the prayers. Thank you all so much.

Continuing Prayers for Cassie : All of a sudden she’s more alert and awake, so that’s good…unfortunately she has the pneumonia and bilateral pulmonary emboli. Her alertness has come out of nowhere, per the last posts, the last 2 days have been so rough. Doctors keep saying that she will experience lots of ups and downs though, so they are just gotta take everything in stride now. She is fighting hard. Let’s just keep praying!

Please pray for our daughter, and our son-in-law. He was discharged from the Army yesterday. They were supposed to drop their car off to be shipped and they just found out today that they need it inspected to be able to send it. They also had a friend that was going to let them stay at their house until they took them to the airport. The friend renigged on both the staying at the house with them and the ride so they are scrambling for a ride. My daughter has been crying all day. Breaks my heart. Please pray for them!

He is a true believer as well as the entire family. Prayers for complete recovery to him and understanding to the family. Update – he had a stint put in place and is home and doing well, thank you all for prayers offered. And thank God for watching over him.

Praise God His plans are amazing. I asked him to let me be part of his dream. I told you about that great book “Dream” by Dutch Sheetz. So I left one home aide job and was assigned a new one. Worked one day, lady goes in hospital, not my client anymore because went to hospice. So I was out there tonight had a Bible study, 2 children two adults, four amens when I lead them in a prayer of commitment or recommitment to Jesus. God you rock!

His organs have shut down and the docs are stumped…they have decided to open him up tomorrow to drain the fluid and look for any infected areas…he is on a vent, with a trac and getting dialysis…please pray…his family are believers and have asked for extreme prayer to bring him back to health. Prayer request for my grandaughter. She has had some bad things happen to her and is acting out against her mom and sister. I am taking her to counseling later today and hope and pray that she lets go of all that is pent up inside her. She is only 3 but she prays and tells me she is working at church when she plays. I am sure God has great plans for her, and He will bring her and her family through this. Please God, wrap your loving arms around this child.

A friend is still in the hospital. They are planning on surgery,hopefully tomorrow, to repair whatever is still bleeding in his knee and put in a drain. He will be in the hospital several more days. Please pray for healing for him and strength for his wife.

Thank you all for the prayers. my husband’s surgery went well and he was sleeping off the rest of the anesthesia when I left tonight. I know he has a long way to go to be completely healed, but we are hopefully on the right track now.

Answered prayer for a friend – ill with flesh eating bacterial infection. Treatment yesterday in hyperbaric chamber seems to have helped after surgery. Please keep praying for her recovery and for her family.

Prayers requested for me as I am having at least four and a max of seven teeth pulled.  Finally!!! I never thought I would be excited to go to a dentist!  Everyone there was really nice when I went for the evaluation.  The dentist I saw actually read my medical history!

please pray for a dear christian friend who appears to be having a major heart attack.

Am asking S.O.S. prayers for my husband. He was suppose to be home by now from his 2 week “gone” for work. 2 nights ago he got woken up at 1:00 am, the well was “kicking” (gas coming out and shooting flames sky high) He fought that all night and got it under control. He just called and said that he won’t be able to leave for at least a couple of hours, he has had very little sleep in the last 2 days, is exhausted and he will have a 3 hour drive to come home. Please cover him with your prayers!

Praise God and praise and thanks prayer warriors. He got home a little while ago, he’s worn out but says he’s blessed. Had a nice pot roast waiting for him. He also said that the prayers worked in ways MORE and beyond safe travel!! Alleluia! Things at the job turned around and he knows it was God and your prayers!! Thank You Jesus!!!
