Prayers requested for my mom. She is starting to have eating problems and being able to feed herself. Please pray that these issues will be resolved and pray for the family as they will be having some decisions to make regarding her care.

Please pray for a friend. He has been getting very bad headaches for a while now. They last about 24 hours and make him vomit. His wife will be making a doctor’s appointment for him on Monday.

Thank you for your prayers for Gouverneur Kairos #4, the Lord was present and guiding each step of the way. Please continue to lift the residents in prayer that they will feel God’s presence with them each day. May they be encouraged as they get together for their reunion on November 5.

Please continue to pray for healing for chaplain’s wife, she remains in Hospital.

On Saturday we drove down to Sayre PA to pick up a friend to bring back home to his house. His surgery on his lungs last Monday went well. The Drs. and Nurses are truly amazed at his progress. He currently is having a little leaking from the lungs. Has a draining port that is being used. He looks great and feels good. WE Praise God that all went well for him. Thank you for your prayers. We continue to pray on his recovery. He is very glad to be home.

I am asking prayers for my family as we celebrate the life of my uncle. He was a strong, Christian man who taught me about love and family when my mom died when I was 13. He was more than just an uncle, he was a father figure to me. He loved the Lord and now he is dancing with his bride and Jesus. As we celebrate his life, please keep family members in prayers as they travel and may his life be a witness to some one who is desiring a personal relationship with our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Please lift up the Kairos team, candidates, correctional officers and all who serve and support each of them as they begin and carry out Gouverneur Kairos Weekend #4. God has called each person involved and will walk beside them in whatever manner they serve, may each one be filled with the Holy Spirit. Gary Van Kennen is the weekend leader.

Please also keep the chaplain and his wife in your prayers. She is in the hospital in Syracuse with serious health issues, he will be present with her and not able to be an integral part of the Kairos team.

A friend of mine found a lump in her breast and will go in on Monday for a mammogram.
She is a young, newly married woman and we’re hoping that there is a simple explanation
for the lump. She is asking for peace to get through the rest of the week and weekend.

I ask for prayers for my parents, as they leave the warm & sunny weather of Florida. They will be traveling back to the cold & rainy weather of Northern NY on Monday morning.

We ask for prayers for our friend. He is the gentleman that God placed in our path. Now 5 years, We praise God that he continues to live drug free. It has truly been a blessing to see the work that God has done in his life. Please keep him in prayer as he is scheduled for surgery in Sayre on Monday October 24th and we are not able to be there for him. He has had problems with Emphasema and his breathing. Has been on Oxygen occasionally. The Drs. want to go in and clean out areas of his lungs. They believe that his breathing will vastly improve 75-80%. We know that he is scared as he has never had any kind surgery. We pray that God will bring him comfort and strength.. To be with the Drs.. and surgical team and for complete healing, a speedy recovery and the breath of new life.

Someone I love dearly I think is being drug back into a dangerous and destructive habit. Please pray that God will surround her with His great protecting hand and give her wisdom.

Our little boy recently celebrated his fourth birthday.

As we do every year, we honor the memory of our friend and celebrate his birthday through the simple mission project of “Operation Christmas Child” which brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes.
