A friend is having her 3rd chemo treatment this Thursday. Your prayers have been felt , a real source of strength for her, especially the next 4-5 rough days afterwards. Please pray her through this next treatment . Next month will be the surgery . Your cards, calls and visits have meant a lot to her and helps her stay focused on Jesus and his healing powers.

Soaring Eagles Ultreya
Hello everyone! The Soaring Eagles Ultreya will be meeting this Friday June 10 With the Secretariat (the business part of VDC). Our picnic/covered dish will be at the Lairdsville UMC. We will meet at 6 pm. If you would like to bring anything to put on the grill or a dish to share that would be great. Please bring your table service and a drink. There will be coffee. Please come and fellowship with us. The meeting will be after at 7 pm. De Colores and we hope to see you there!

Prayers for a friend and her family. Her husband’s father passed away suddenly this afternoon. Her parents and her, her husband and children will all be traveling north from FL tomorrow. Travel mercies and peace and understanding for the family.

Please pray for a friend. She is in the Hospital recovering from hemorrhages in her esophagus. She went in the hospital Thursday evening and expects to be released Monday or Tuesday. Pray for healing and that she will take the time to rest.
