Come one and all!  To the 8th annual Haines 4th Day (of July) Picnic

WHEN:  Monday, July 4th at 12 NOON

WHERE:  8087 Kirkville Rd. Kirkville NY

WHAT TO BRING:  A dish to pass (salad, side dish, appetizer or dessert), lawn
chairs, yard games, musical instruments and your love of the Lord!

Meat, beverages & table service will be provided.  This year we will also be
celebrating Jessica Moquin’s (WTE #74) successful battle against lymphoma (with
God in control every step of the way.)  We encourage you to bring your friends
and family and introduce them to your Closer Walk family.

De Colores everyone!  This is just a reminder that there will be no Soaring Eagles Ultreya this month and next.  I hope everyone has a Great Fourth and summer!  If we need an emergency meeting we will notify you.  Have a super summer and see you in September!

Prayer & Praise

Asking prayers for sister in Christ, who is in congestive heart failure and doctors have told her they cannot help at this time, as she has already had 2 heart transplants and kidney transplant in the past. She says it’s “totally in the Lord’s hands”. I asked her if she minded if I added her to prayer chains, and she said, “Oh that would be awesome!”  Thank you to all of you, from me and her. 🙂

Peter and Carol Loveland will present a program on their latest trip to Haiti.  This should be a great evening.  The Lovelands are collecting 4 hole buttons for their kids in Haiti to make bracelets with.  They would appreciate it if you could share some of your button box buttons.

Also, Peter Loveland will be doing an agape feast with us.

Several are involved with the upcoming men’s walk on July 7th to 10th in pine City.

At our JULY 23RD meeting Ellen Wooley will be doing her talk on Obstacles to Grace.

As we have another commitment Lisa VanSickle has graciously agreed to facilitate the June 25th meetiing.  Many thanks to Lisa and Carl.
