Dear all,

Please hold Pator and her family in your prayers as they lost everything in a house fire Friday night.  They were not harmed and their dogs were able to get out.  A lady that lives in the upstairs apartment was not at home, but her dog passed away.  This is all of the information that we know at this time, but will pass anything along as soon  as we know of anything.

A change from last update…..
The removed cyst on 2/ 24 was fully analyzed and it was determined to be Stage 3. This prompted another test – a PET scan- which is radioactive sugar water …it is introduced into the suspected area and it will  “light up” if it is positive…..there was some ‘lighting up’ in the throat area…

This prompted another biopsy  of the throat area, This was done this past Tues, 3/ 20. The initial report from pathology -that same morning- was CLEAR…..She has been home since then as she has no voice. They scraped pretty hard and probably rubbed the vocal chords pretty good too.

What is confusing is that there seems to be some doubt as to what is really there…biopsies are clear – yet the scans  and tests show ‘something cloudy/questionable’….??..??

At any rate her local team of surgeon, oncologist and radiation guru are in agreement that there should be a combination of chemo and radiation….to the tune of 33 radiation shots  @ 5 per week and  chemo 1 per week….for about 7 weeks….pretty aggressive but their logic is she is physically strong and otherwise healthy in order to handle the treatment….

We have a 2nd opinion set for Mon/ Tue- so we will shuffle off Mon AM. We meet the oncologist Mon afternoon and Radiation Doc on Tue AM. If there is concurrence on their end as to the prescribed treatment plan that is on tap by Docs- then we’ll proceed to git r dun….we’ll get back and begin the process…

She will be outfitted for a protective mask to wear during radiation and get a tube for feeding . She will likely not be able to eat solid food as her throat will be extremely sore….Voice will probably change and hair will likely fall out…..in all of this , she maintains a positive attitude….and I thought I was tuff..??..??

And she IS tuff- as most of you can attest to….she must be- for putting up with my schitt for 25+ years…..think good thoughts and plenty of prayers for her…..

Request prayers for a friend’s wife, and the whole family as she battles can-cer in the area of her vocal cords.  She is facing chemo and radiation.  To do this, she will need to be fed through a tube.  They are going for a second opinion, prior to making any firm plans.  Prayers are needed, warriors!

I am asking for heavy prayers immediately for my brother, he is very sick and in need of immediate intervention. Thank you prayer warriors!

We ask for prayers for a friend from our church. He is scheduled for surgery on Friday 3/23 . Pray for sucessuful surgery and speedy recovery. Comfort and strength for the family. This week we went with our grandaughter to the Drs. for our two great grandchildren . They had shots. We also learned that grandson has a problem with an enlarge testicle. We now have an ppoint for him to see a surgeon in April. He is also scheduled to see a Neurologist for another issue in June. We ask for prayers for him . We ask for prayers for our gandson. He is still under going his chemo treament. This has been very hard on him physically. Just this week he had to be rushed to hospital at midnight as he had a very high temp. Did not get home till 4AM. We also ask for prayer for family also as this been very heavy on their hearts and physically exausting.
We also want to let everyone know there is going to be a benefit event for grandson. It will be at 1PM on Sunday April 29th in Auburn. We would like to let others know about the event . If you can we appreciate all the support we can get for him and also to the family too. invite His cancer is rare and in fact there are only a few documented cases.! On a Praise note we have received a call from our friend. He is doing fantastic everyone is amazed in his health. He shared he was at the Drs. yesterday, everyone so estatic on his progress. He said the nurse said well it looks like the Drs. did a great job. He spoke up and said ” Let’s set the record straight. It was God who did the healing and miracle in my body. He just used the Drs. to do it. He also called us today again today to let us know that he went and got new batteries for his keyboard. When he turned it on it powered up and work. He was shouting with Joy and praising God. He has been without his keyboard for almost two weeks. We are going to see him this weekend and we also have a friend who is an electronic tech and is going to take a look and see if it can be hard wired so he can also use electric.

Please be in prayer for a friend, she had extensive jaw surgery on Wednesday at hospital. After a very rough night and day, they released her yesterday… She was still having problems breathing, but they were sure that she would be ok… Her husband, called me this am and he was taking her to the ER as her breathing problems were getting worse. I just got another call that they are transferring her back via ambulance. Please wrap this young couple, and their children, in your prayers.

First prayer arsnewed with a resounding, YES! Thank You, Lord! Thank You that You chose to protect.  Father we expect a miracle but accept Your perfect will for tomorrow. May we say Thank You in advance for the grace we know You have ready for tomorrow and the next day and the next!. Lord, I pray as the early disciples prayed in Acts 4:29-30,  Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.” We beg You for a miracle. Enable us to confess our sins and be empty of self, fill us with Your Holy Spirit as we pray for a miracle.
