Dear Prayer warriors,

Our prayer chain coordinator, is currently in the hospital undergoing tests to find out why she is not feeling well. Prayers that doctors will be able to find out what’s wrong and be able to treat her. May she feel God’s love and grace surrounding her through your thoughts and prayers. I will be sending out prayer requests for the time being.

Please pray for my mother.  She was admitted to the hospital yesterday with extremely high blood pressure and pain in her shoulder and arm.  They are running tests and kept her for observation.  We don’t know what is causing the high blood pressure at this point.

Update :
A friend is home and on his way to recovery, he has a long road ahead of him, prayers for patience, understanding and strength. Thank you for all prayers offered.

A friend from our meal team  is quite ill. He is in need of a lung transplant and is waiting for an appointment in Boston. Would you add him to the Emmaus Prayer List and any other prayer list that you know of.

We ask for prayers for our grandson in Georgia. He was having chest pains this morning and went to hospital ER. Our daughter called to say that after they found a blood clott near his heart.  We believe he will be admitted as Drs. are going to try to dissolve this with medication.  We trust that he is in good hands and thankfully  is where he needs to be. We pray for comfort and strength for him and family , as we believe in healing for him.

We ask for prayers a friend in Georgia. He is in hospital with a hole in his lung which has caused it to collapse. They have been trying to see if this will heal with out surgery.  Drs. may have to do surgery to tube in.  We pray for comfort for him.  We also pray that he listens to what the Drs. are telling him, because we don’t think he realizes how serious this is.  They are not sure how he got this as there was no injuries.  Our daughter is just worn out , tired and scared. We pray that God will help comfort her.  We pray that God will give us strength, as we are up here and can only pray and trust God.

We ask for prayers for our friends from our church. He had recent surgery on his leg. She  just called and he has been doing a lot of vomiting and feeling very dizzy. Drs. gave him some meds. Not really sure what he has going on.  May God give them comfort and strength during this difficult time.

A friend from our church is home recovering from a recent cancer surgery and having a breast and some limp nodes removed.. We pray for healing andstrength for her. We also pray as she prepares for treatments to follow. Keep her husband and family in your prayers also.

A friend  that I requested prayer fore is now home and recovering nicely. He still has a long way to go but knows that the Lord is right there beside him. He wishes to thank all the prayer warriors for prayers offered in his name. Please continue in prayer for him.

Dear Prayer Warriors,

A friend was working with one of the horses she helps her son take care of and it stepped on her foot. Needless to say, she is in a lot of pain and needs prayer that it isn’t broken and for a speedy recovery.

A friend fell this morning and hurt her nose. She was taken to the hospital and all is well. Please pray for physical strength and healing. her daughter, needs prayer for peace.

Hello Brother’s and Sister’s in Christ,

I just received a phone call over the weekend from my friend, who is pregnant with twins. She has had an extremely rough pregnancy and is on permanant bed rest. If you would please put her and her husband, on the prayer chain until the twins are born it would be greatly appreciated. She has been taken into the hopsital again over the weekend with severe pre-term labor contractions which were difficult for the doctor’s to slow down and they have not yet stopped. If the twins could stay in the womb until the end of August it would be ideal for they are still extremely tiny.

Please pray for a friend. While at work he was backed into by a fork lift causing  broken ribs, punctured lung and a broken arm. Prayers for a speedy recovery and rapid healing, and the strength to continue with treatment. Prayers also for his surgeons,doctors and health care personal.

We ask for prayers for a friend and her husband from our church. She had to have a Mastectomy last Thursday and is now home. Not sure what treatment will be. We pray that God will bring healing, give her comfort and strength. Prayer for her family during this difficult time.
We also ask for prayers for our friend. This was a gentleman that God placed in our path a few years back. We are so proud of his come back. This month will be 5 years drug free. We were down to visit him this weekend. His family was also up from CT & DC for a family reunion. We ask for prayers for him as he is going to have major surgery on his lungs to improve his breathing. Will be going for tests next week as they prepare for a surgery date. He is scared as he shared as he has never had any kind of surgery. We trust that his surgery will go well and that God will give him the strength he needs, bringing comfort to his heart and will improve his breathing.
